Pastor Russ Spikes
It is a privilege to be the Pastor of Rolling Baptist Church. I was called as the "Interim" Pastor in September of 2011. However, three months later the church removed the "interim" tag and I became their Pastor on Christmas Day, 2011.
My wife, Sue, and I have been married since July, 1982. We have 3 children (Robbie, Ryan, Stephanie) and two daughters-in-law, Allison and Karly along with a son-in-law, Daniel. We're also the proud grandparents of Kenzie Rose Spikes and Kaden Robert Spikes.
This is a caring, loving and loyal congregation at RHBC; and nothing would we like better than to have you join us in worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to contact me if I can serve you in any way.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP THROUGH MUSIC MISSION STATEMENT
Music is a gift from God that He has enabled us to return to Him as we celebrate and glorify His awesome majesty. Scripture declares that it is a good thing to sing praise to our God. Praise brings us into the very presence of our Holy God, for He inhabits and lives within the praises of His people. Praise gives power to lift our hearts and renew our spirits because God Himself is in attendance. We truly mount up with wings as eagles as we experience this deep intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ, granted to us through singing and playing His praises. Praise allows us to touch the hem of His garment, opening the way for healing, forgiveness and “joy unspeakable” as we literally bask in God’s greatness and grace. Praise takes us to thanksgiving, leading us further still to worship at the feet of the worthy Lamb. It brings us into His presence, leaving us, like Moses, with the reflection of His holiness and glory upon our face and our lives. It is this reflected glory that enables us to live among men that we may bear witness to our God and cause others to seek Him as well.
