Dr. Mark Meyer, Senior Pastor

Pastor Mark and his wife Karen accepted the call of our Lord to minister to the community through RHBC. Since 1993, Mark has been teaching the Bible at Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland.  Mark and Karen have always been active in their local church because they believe it to be God’s design for reaching the world. 

Through reading God’s Word, the Bible, Mark and Karen have come to know the Lord and have grown in their faith through prayerful study; they also desire God’s Word to be central in all the ministries of Rolling Hills.  Their passion is to know God more deeply, to love and serve Him, and to work with others in doing the same.  

Both Mark and Karen were born in New York but were raised in North Carolina.  They met in a softball class at N. C. State where Mark studied electrical engineering and Karen environmental design.  Mark sensed the Lord’s call into vocational ministry while an engineering student and began seminary studies shortly after moving to Maryland.  In their spare time, Mark and Karen enjoy all forms of exercise and reading.

RHBC is especially fortunate that God has blessed us so richly with Mark and Karen.  Pastor Mark's leadership guides us as we feel and experience God's smile that embraces RHBC.
